Bjarni Rafn Kjartansson, 21 years of age, grew up in a small town on the east side of Iceland. Although he’s been DJing for a about three years now, he has only been making his own music since January 2009.
His surroundings greatly influence his sound as he combines deep beats laced with his trademark etheral atmospheres.
Muted has releases and forthcoming tracks on labels such as Qilin Music, Modern Urban Jazz, Influenza Media, Amen Brothers, All Street Recordings and Hidden Hawaii.
In his short span as a producer, he has been getting a lot of recent attention and DJ support from the likes of Kiat, Justice, June miller, Loxy, Sinistarr, Alley Cat, Physics, Consequence, Gremlinz and many more.
